About Friends of Merrimack PD
Our Mission
Friends of Merrimack Police is a community-based, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Merrimack Police Department and fostering positive relationships between law enforcement and the residents of Merrimack. Made up of local volunteers the group works to enhance the effectiveness of the police through fundraising, community outreach, and educational initiatives.
The organization will help provide supplemental resources not covered by the town budget that could include, specialized equipment, training programs, youth outreach activities, and community policing efforts. Friends of Merrimack Police also hosts events that bring officers and the public together, promoting transparency, trust, and collaboration.
Through ongoing advocacy and civic engagement, the group plays a vital role in building a safer, more united community while showing appreciation for the dedication and service of the men and women of the Merrimack Police Department.
